Finally ready for the computer: Silkscreen machines I made somewhere during my last semester at RISD.

An hommage to-/questioning of the advancement of humanity's industrial achievements:

Set of 8 in color or graphite black and white, each one is 20x20 inches (click to enlarge):

I started out with sketch parts on a grid that could be assembled at various angles- all 8 machines where made from these parts and there could be many more configurations I suppose.

Phooone Drawings

For some reason I started skipping around the trains more instead of one continuous ride. So that makes for less drawing time on each. Choices choices..

I actually did this one a little while ago, when I had just seen Yonkers and was going cwazy. But I fixed a couple of things and reworked the look of it on seeing neon signage around here.

Also I'm doing more subway sketches but theyre getting less interesting to look at, too overworked or something- might post someof those soon. + I wish someone gave me the ability to write more confidently because I'd really like to be able to talk about some of my thoughts on this whole hand writing thing and more on the computer versus 'tradtional' and how computers are supposedly evil but how they're actually not and and and. I'll try that somewhere in the near future.
